Super 8 Charlotte Amusement Park

There is no pool at this hotel! This hotel is not close to Carowinds and it is in a horrible location. I had to call the police just to get professional customer service.

The hotel was ok for the money, but thats about it. The hallways are very dark and creapy. The bed came with equipped with the most uncomfortable pillow know to man, and when I asked for another one they made no effort to find me one.The room was nice and air-conditioned and well kept I would recommend this hotel for someone on a budget, but next time Im going to just pay the extra money for some comfort. ...read more

The hotel was very close to uptown and to Caro winds. It was about 15 minutes away from everything we were looking at online to do. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that it was on a road with nothing but a Waffle House. It looked a little sketchy from the outside. The staff was friendly; however I did have a hard time understanding what he was saying. When I got up to depart and check out, there was no coffee in the coffee maker which is a bad start to the morning. Not to complain but it’s the small things to me that mean a lot to me. ...read more

For the price, a definite good find. Perfect for my needs overall.

This place was filthy! Their continental breakfast is a corner with coffee and cereal, literally 3 feet wide. The room stank of stale cigarette smoke (badly). The carpet had potato chip crumbs on it, the tub was cracked and had plumbing hanging out of the wall, the bed had hair on the supposedly clean sheets and pillows. ...read more

If you are traveling by yourself or no more than one other person the rooms would be satisfactory for you. If you are traveling with a group plan to be a little uncomfortable.
